What We Offer
Three Services, Clearly Defined
Each offering has a fixed scope, a fixed price, and everything included. You choose what fits your situation — and we don't push you toward something larger.
Back to HomeOur Methodology
How the Porch Works in Practice
All three services share the same underlying approach: we start from your actual situation, explain things in plain language, and leave you with something tangible. We don't deal in general advice that could apply to anyone — we focus on the specific thing you're working through.
Understand First
We ask what you're actually dealing with before suggesting anything. The right service is the one that fits your situation, not the one that's most convenient for us.
Explain Clearly
Every session involves plain-language explanation — no jargon, no rushing, no assumption that you already know the relevant systems or procedures.
Leave You Equipped
You leave each engagement with printed or digital materials — a checklist, a planner, a template set — so the knowledge stays useful after we're no longer in the room.

Porch Hours Drop-In Pass (Four Visits)
RM 480 per pass
A pass that covers four separate drop-in visits, each up to 30 minutes, during our open porch hours. Suited to anyone who has questions about which counter or portal handles a particular matter, how to read a government notice in plain terms, or how to fill in a form correctly. Each visit is treated as its own session — you can use the four visits for four different topics or return to the same issue across multiple appointments.
What's Included
- Four drop-in visits of up to 30 minutes each
- Welcome sheet and a small document folder on first visit
- "Bring along" checklist sent before each visit
- Message follow-up within two working days of each session
- General information and orientation only — no legal or financial advice
How It Works
Purchase the pass online or at the porch. Receive a booking confirmation and welcome sheet by email.
Book your first session — walk in during porch hours or send a message to reserve a slot.
Attend your 30-minute session. Bring the documents or notices relevant to your question.
Receive a follow-up message within two working days. Use remaining visits as and when needed.
Pass valid for 90 days from date of purchase. Sessions available Monday–Friday 9am–6pm; Saturday by appointment.

Multi-Generation Household Planning Workshops
RM 2,400 per series
A four-workshop series, two hours per session, delivered over four consecutive weeks. Designed for households where adults of different generations share the same address and the same administrative responsibilities — but don't yet have a shared system for managing them. The series covers building a household document and contact index, setting up shared calendars and renewal reminders, agreeing who handles which tasks, and preparing simple "in case I'm away" folders for emergencies.
What's Included
- Four two-hour workshops over four weeks
- Printed planners and digital templates for all participants
- Private group chat for the duration of the programme
- Available in English; Bahasa Malaysia on request
- Organisational and educational content only
Workshop Topics
Family Contact & Document Index — building a shared list of who holds what and where things are kept.
Shared Calendars & Renewal Reminders — setting up recurring reminders for licences, insurance, and document renewals.
Agreeing Household Roles — deciding fairly who handles which admin tasks and what to do when someone is unavailable.
"In Case I'm Away" Folders — preparing a practical folder that any family member can use in an emergency.
Series scheduled by arrangement. Suitable for 2–8 family participants. 50% deposit confirms booking; balance at Session 1.

Community Notice Board Toolkit (for Organisations)
RM 4,500 per engagement
An eight-week operational engagement for residents' associations, community centres, and small charities that want a clear, sustainable system for sharing information with their members. We help set up both a physical pinboard and a digital equivalent — with content categories, posting rules, a simple submission process, a monthly editorial checklist, plain-language templates for announcements, and volunteer roles that keep everything current without burning out the same two people.
What's Included
- Two on-site workshops (at your premises or ours)
- Printed and digital versions of all templates and checklists
- Volunteer role guides and handover documentation
- Launch-week support call after your system goes live
- Written toolkit delivered at the end of the engagement
- Operational and communications support only
Eight-Week Schedule
Weeks 1–2: Discovery — understanding your current approach, your audience, and your committee's capacity.
Weeks 3–4: Design — drafting categories, submission forms, editorial rules, and the first batch of templates.
Weeks 5–6: First on-site workshop and review — testing the system with your team, adjusting based on feedback.
Weeks 7–8: Launch, second workshop, support call, and full toolkit handover.
Suitable for committees of 2–20 volunteers. Travel within Klang Valley included. 50% deposit confirms the start date.

Professional Standards
What Applies Across All Three Services
PDPA-Compliant Handling
Personal data shared during sessions is handled in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We don't copy or store documents without your knowledge.
Scope Transparency
We state clearly at the start of every engagement what the service covers and what falls outside its scope. If something changes, we say so immediately.
Post-Engagement Feedback
Every service ends with a short feedback request. We use this to improve — not to generate testimonials for marketing.
SSM Registered
Meranti Porch is a formally registered business entity in Malaysia. Receipts and invoices are issued for every transaction.
