What You Get When You Step Up
We keep things plain, practical, and unhurried — the way a good neighbour would explain things over a cup of tea.
Plain-Language Explanations
No jargon. No rushing. We walk through forms, notices, and procedures in clear everyday English — or Bahasa Malaysia if that's more comfortable.
Flexible Porch Hours
Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, with Saturday morning slots available by appointment. Drop in or book ahead — either works.
Practical Take-Aways
Every visit includes something to take home — a welcome sheet, a checklist, a printed planner, or a template — so you leave with something tangible.
Confidential & Respectful
Your personal details and household matters stay within our walls. We handle every visit with discretion and without judgement.
Community-Centred Approach
We work with residents' groups, community centres, and multi-generational families — not just individuals. If your community has a need, we want to hear it.
Central Petaling Jaya Location
Located in Dialog Tower, Mutiara Damansara — well connected by MRT, bus, and with nearby parking. Easy to reach from across Klang Valley.

Common Questions
Things People Ask Before Coming In
Do I need to book ahead, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome during open porch hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm). That said, if you'd like to be sure of a slot — especially for the drop-in pass — sending a quick message ahead saves waiting time. Saturday morning slots are by appointment only.
What kinds of matters can the drop-in pass help with?
The drop-in pass covers general orientation: figuring out which government counter, portal, or department handles a particular matter; reading official notices in plain language; understanding what a standard form is asking for; and knowing what to bring when you go somewhere. We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.
Our household has older parents and adult children — is the workshop series right for us?
Yes, that's exactly who the Multi-Generation Household Planning series is designed for. The four workshops work through practical things like building a shared document index, setting up calendar reminders for renewals, and preparing a simple folder so anyone in the family can step in if needed. No prior experience with apps or planning tools is needed.
We're a small residents' association. Is the toolkit too large-scale for us?
Not at all. The Community Notice Board Toolkit was built with small neighbourhood committees in mind. If your committee has one person managing a WhatsApp group and a pinboard, that's a perfectly fine starting point. We scale the workshops and templates to what's actually useful for your group size.
What language are the sessions conducted in?
Primarily English, with Bahasa Malaysia available on request. Printed materials are available in both. If your household or group uses a different language day-to-day, let us know when you enquire and we'll see what we can arrange.
How do I pay, and when?
Payment is made at the time of booking confirmation via bank transfer (FPX) or DuitNow. The drop-in pass is paid in full before the first visit. For workshop series and the community toolkit, a 50% deposit secures the schedule and the balance is settled at the first session.
